Symptoms:
- Emotional blunting: flat affect, may not respond appropriately to stimuli, docility
- Hyperphagia: weight gain, compulsive placement of inedible objects in mouth (hyperorality), compulsive eating
- Inappropriate sexual behavior: atypical sex behaviors, mounting inanimate objects, hypersexuality
- Visual agnosia: psychic blindness (inability to visually recognize objects)

Several other resources say this also results from having the amygdala removed. Anomia is different and is also caused by lesions in the temporal lobe, but not the medial portion (2nd and 3rd gyri)
