- Ddx orbital fracture or early retrobulbar hemorrhage (#1) vs. orbital compartment syndrome (#2)
- Orbital compartment syndrome may be caused by trauma, coagulopathy, infection, or recent surgery
- OCS is clinical diagnosis; decompress (lateral canthotomy followed by inferior cantholysis) before imaging for best chance to preserve vision!
