Stool osmotic gap
<50 = Secretory diarrhea
50-125 = Indeterminate
>125 = Osmotic diarrhea
Per AMBOSS,
Normal stool osmotic gap: 50–100 mmol/L
Low stool osmotic gap (< 50 mmol/L) = Secretory
High stool osmotic gap (≥ 100 mmol/L) = Osmotic
