Rationale for change
C1 esterase inhibitor is now just called C1 inhibitor, according to the explanation.
If UWorld has changed this, I assume USMLE has as well and it's better to be familiar with what we will see on exams.
Both terms are still used in the literature but C1 inhibitor seems to be getting more popular, judging by a quick search on google scholar.
