This is my understanding
Mature teratoma in female = almost always benign
Mature teratoma in male = benign usually but malignant is possible
Immature teratoma in male/female = always malignant
When a mature teratoma becomes malignant it is then called an immature teratoma.
There's no UWorld QID tagged to compare.
First Aid agrees that immature = malignant
