according to cochrane among others, it seems as if lamotrigine and levetiracetam are also suitable (and in many cases preferred options) for focal seizures.

Amboss also has Carbamazepine listed as second choice

the german guidelines (2023) also support this

i believe this should be changed, or at least be mentioned in under Extra
