Rationale for change

The way it was phrased, one could include the ribose sugar, which would increase the count by 1, as a DNA/RNA nucleotide with an adenine (a purine) nitrogenous base would have 3 rings in the structure. Specifying nitrogenous base eliminates the ambiguity.
