Notes




The OA follows Fryette "type I like" mechanics, in that rotation and sidebending is opposite;
The AA is typically diagnosed as rotation - predominant
While the rest of the typical cervical spine (C2-7) follows Fryette "type II like" mechanics
(because rotation and sidebending are coupled in the same direction but the segment can be in flexion, extension, or neutral positioning)
