Claw hand is affected by the ulnar nerve but the bishops hand is affected by the median nerve.
"Claw hand occurs due to an ulnar nerve injury, usually a distal lesion. The fourth and fifth digits are flexed and the patient cannot straighten these two fingers. The Sign of Benediction usually occurs due to a median nerve injury, usually a high median nerve injury or anterior interosseous nerve lesion"
Will manually correct card with a separate suggestion.
After maintainer discussion:
This card was made from an exact quote from Savarese (the image on the card) but it is from the previous edition and is NOT discussed in the newest (4th) edition. this topic is covered by several AnKing cards and is not an Osteopathic specific topic.
Instead of correcting it, we decided to update it differently.
