Rationale for change
Metastasis of lung carcinomas to adrenal glands is a rare cause of primary adrenal insufficiency (Addison's disease). Up to 90% of cases of Addison's disease, in the US, are caused by autoimmune adrenalitis. Thus, lung metastasis is not a common cause of Addison's.
