Rationale for change

weak acids/bases still produce weak conjugates, the change just isn't as drastic as with strong acids/bases whose conjugates can be considered inert.

Rejection reason

This more so applies to acids/bases in the middle of acid/base strength scale (see below). They are considered weak but the verbiage in this card doesn’t make a distinction between their extent of “weak” relative to an acid/base that is negligible. So, all in all, I do agree that your rationale is correct, but it’d take more info added to the card to reflect this in a way that wouldn’t be misinterpreted. I don’t think we’d need to add this extra info because in the end, for the sake of the MCAT, the convention is that “The stronger the acid, the weaker its conjugate base” and vice versa
